Winterlude

Here it is! Winterlude is finally finished! (Sorry about the shadows but had to take pictures at work.)  The quilt is beautifully quilted by Angela McCorkle. Her website is found here.  She is an amazing quilter that I would recommend and I hope to use personally.  She does not know me personally because the amazing marketing and workroom folks at Moda had this quilt quilted for me, so if you are asking her about quilting you might need to mention Moda.

Another beautiful quilt is this one. It is "Bluebell" by Laundry Basket Quilts using the Snowbird fabric line and was made by the so very talented Debbi Duckworth.  I do not know anyone who does applique as beautiful as Debbi and her piecing is incredible. (Think we need to have some pictures of her applique, hmmmm I will work on that!)

Here is a closer look, and she always labels her quilts, yes guilt has overtaken me about this because I don't think I have ever labeled a quilt, okay I'm over it.
A fun near future post and tutorial is making pillowcases from what is left from projects.  Here is a pillowcase that Debbi made from the fabrics she had left over after making a quilt for the new fabric line Atelier by 3 Sisters.
One more thing! The "Love" quilt tutorial is almost complete and there are more tutorials and patterns drifting through the pages of my computer. Can I get a high five here?
I am also wanting to have some Silhouette fun.  I needed to get my feet wet and learn more about the Silhouette-yes it is a blast!
See you in a bit.
Janny
